Tetris

10/18/2015: This clone of Tetris is based on a project from Code inComplete. I wanted to write a Text based version, not using Canvas, so I tried building this with HTML, JQuery, and CSS.

Next will be to port this over to an add-in to TermLib.js by mass:werk.

Currently not designed for mobile users.

How to play

Using the Space Bar, the Escape key, and the Up, Down, Left and Right Arrow keys on your keboard, move the pieces as they drop. The object is to make a row of 10 blocks, this creates a Line. When you make one or more Lines, they will be removed from the field and you will score points. The more Lines you remove, the faster the peices will drop.

If your stack of blocks reaches the top, and the next peice cannot be dropped, the game is over. Pressing the Space bar will start the game. Pressing Escape key will quit the current game.
